S. Shlomo Insurance Company Ltd. was received in November 2007, the adequate license from the Israeli Insurance Commissioner. Its goal is to become one of Israel's top 5 insurance companies in non-life iunsurance.
The company began to issue insurance policies on January 1, 2008. At the beginning it focused on personal lines: motor bodily injury insurance and comprehensive vehicle property insurance. Towards the end of 2008 the company began to provide homeowners insurance, as well.
At the beginning of 2009 the company is insuring approximately 70,000 automobiles, uses the services of about 300 agents and brokers and employs a little more than 100 employees.
The company intends to continue and diversify its lines of business and increase its market share.
